Customers want an incentive to keep buying from you and nearly 80% of customers agree that they like doing business with companies that offer loyalty programs. The purpose of these programs is to thank customers for their business and show them how much you value them. There are several types of loyalty programs such as point-based programs, tier-based programs, and perk-based programs so you can decide which is right for your customer base. 

5. Send Gifts

Remembering things like birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions can really make the relationship more personal between you and your customer. Surprising your customer with special treats, cards, or company swag is a great way to thank them for their business. 

6. Create a Customer Community

You want your customers to enjoy the experience of working with you and this can be done by building a community with your customers. Whether it’s a social media page of a membership program, you want your customers to feel like they are part of something exclusive. It creates that VIP feeling and is a great way for members to communicate and share information with other members.
