Challenge:
As the leading global provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) services to operators worldwide, this Maryland based company helps simplify the way organizations communicate and collaborate. However, like many global organizations, they faced challenges internally. First, their managers had not had formal training in managing, leading, coaching and mentoring their team members. Second, their management teams struggled to apply a consistent approach in managing people that spanned many countries and cultures.
Solutions:
After talking with us at Management Training Institute, they weighed possible solutions to their challenges. Because our management and leadership programs are all customizable, they quickly discovered that we could address all of their people-management concerns. The Management Training Institute also has a proven track record globally with work to date in 45 countries. Together, we developed a three day experiential training event that included two days of management-leadership topics and a third day of presentation training. Two such programs were delivered simultaneously at corporate headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD with a total of 60 participants. These were very positively received at all levels.
Results:
When 60 managers are transformed together into a cohesive management team using proven, effective, and consistent methodologies, the entire organization benefits. The positive ripple effect up and down the organization has been recognized and appreciated by the client’s Corporate Headquarters. Given their initial success with The Management Training Institute, the client recently collaborated with us again to deliver two simultaneous three day programs in both Gaithersburg, MD and London, England for their Europe and India-based managers. The client organization was so satisfied with our program delivery that they are commissioning yet another round of transformative training sessions for this coming third quarter.
