A global shipping and transportation organization had a talented manager who was recently promoted. His new and expanded role involved supervising teams at both their United States and Europe locations. In need of people management skills with an emphasis on sensitivity to cultural differences, the organization sought out professional Executive Coaching with the Management Training Institute.

After an assessment call to discuss the participant’s needs in detail, the Management Training Institute paired this manager with our expert Coach who could not only address lacking skills but really provide a transformational training experience for him. We collaborated with the client to design a customized one day training that would reveal both skills and insights for this manager, leading to more effective leadership of cross-cultural teams.
Results:
The coaching session was a complete success. The manager and coach developed a strong and trusting relationship throughout the day which led to great discovery and progress. The feedback we have received from the client also suggests that the manager was enthusiastic about putting his new skills to use and expressed a great eagerness to schedule a second session with the same coach later in the year to expand his learning even further.
