Challenge:
A leader in the Medical Technology field was coordinating a week-long Leadership retreat for their Sales Managers at a resort in CA. The Sales Training Manager was looking to bring in a talented and dynamic Facilitator to address the issue of Leadership vs. Management. He has a team of managers who are simply “going through the motions” and “putting out fires” without much skill or passion. He sought out our customizable Leadership Success training due to its innovative content.
Solution:
With the help of our Director of Training, the client was able to design a powerful program as part of their week-long retreat. He was pleased with our personal approach and ability to customize content based on the unique needs of his sales team. He also expressed interest in running this as a pilot program and if successful, rolling it out to his teams nationwide.
Results:
The reception to the content delivered during the retreat was overwhelmingly positive. The Sales Manager noted how energized his team members were to take their new skills and put them to immediate use. He praised our Facilitator for his ability to engage such a large group and his willingness to explore certain topics in greater detail as directed by the conversation. The training also left the participants with goals to accomplish upon their return. We are in talks to begin rolling this program out to other teams later in the year.
